Candidate Relationships

We understand that the candidate journey can evolve, and from time to time, candidates we have placed with you may seek new opportunities. Rest assured, in such instances, we will direct them back to you as a first instance to address any concerns. However, if the candidate expresses interest in exploring Gough positions, we will accommodate their preferences.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Gough Recruitment maintains a separate and confidential relationship with our registered candidates. They trust us with their aspirations, and we honour their privacy rights in strict compliance with privacy laws and regulations as per the Privacy Act 1998. We cannot disclose any information about their interviewing status, placements, or any other personal details without their explicit consent.

Candidate Placements and Fees

Candidates placed through Gough Recruitment are entitled to their full privacy and are subject to a privacy clause. In the event of subsequent placements, outside the replacement warranty period, a full fee will apply provided the invoice has been paid on time and in full.

Ethical Candidate Approach

At Gough Recruitment, we uphold a strong code of ethics and do not approach or solicit candidates who are currently placed in roles we have secured for them. Additionally, we do not approach or solicit candidates from our active clients, maintaining the utmost respect for our business relationships.

Active Client Definition

An active client is defined as a client who has made a placement with Gough Recruitment within the past 12 months and has signed agreed-upon terms in the relevant states of NSW, VIC, WA, SA, QLD.

Affiliated Companies and Recruitment Fees

 If a candidate is subsequently placed through an affiliated company, brand name, or through your network, it will attract a full recruitment fee to maintain fairness and uphold the value of our services.
